About the CPD Course

This e-learning course is aimed at GPs, nurse, rescribers, PCN and practice pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, medicines optimisation teams and community pharmacists. The course has nine modules including the self-management and pharmacological treatment of asthma, asthma guidelines, the use of high dose steroids and steroid cards, review and follow-up and the COVID-19 pandemic for people with asthma. There's also two practical case studies covering the management of asthma in an adult and a child. It includes end of module quizzes and a final assessment with a pass mark of 70% being required to complete the course and receive a certificate.
