About the CPD Course

This e-learning course offers a comprehensive and evidence-based overview of menopause, tailored for healthcare professionals. The outlines physiological changes underlying the menopausal transition and their clinical manifestations, including vasomotor symptoms, urogenital changes, sleep disturbances, mood and cognitive effects. Diagnostic considerations are discussed, with guidance on history-taking and symptom evaluation, Management of menopause symptoms with hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal treatments and lifestyle interventions is considered, including benefits and risks of treatment. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge to critically evaluate treatment options, engage in shared decision-making, and deliver effective, compassionate, and patient-centered care for menopause.
