About the CPD Course

Led by Professor Susan Young: an internationally recognized expert in the field: this course teaches delegates how to adapt talking therapies for people with ADHD and how to integrate coaching and CBT techniques to create a practical and comprehensive treatment plan. Delegates learn practical: evidence-based techniques that they can immediately apply to their work. Each of the twelve modules includes a video demonstration of Susan Young applying these techniques to a young woman with ADHD. The training is designed for anyone supporting individuals with ADHD who are working across a variety of settings and contexts including education: employment and healthcare.

The ACE interview assesses core symptoms of ADHD in childhood and the extent to which they impair functioning. The interview prompts the assessor to consider the presence of alternative and/or co-existing conditions. ACE is currently available in 22 languages.
