The training program focuses on empowering trainees to design student-cantered learning aligned with 21st-century needs. It highlights the importance of assessment in improving teaching and learning, exploring various assessment strategies and tools. Trainees will learn to plan assessments that align with objectives and gather authentic evidence of learning. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on activities, including case studies and group discussions, encouraging critical thinking and peer knowledge sharing. Through these activities, trainees will reflect on and develop professional practices while using assessment results to enhance learning outcomes.

This training workshop has been designed to meet teachers’ needs in light of the transformations taking place in the learning and teaching process where teaching and learning occurs through engaging activities. Learners should become more active in the teaching and learning process as they are responsible for constructing their knowledge, developing their skills, reflecting on their learning continuously and processing new information. Therefore the activities in this workshop are designed to motivate participants to find and elicit the meaning of active learning, its importance and different effective active learning strategies and techniques by engaging them in interactive activities.

This two-day training workshop highlights the value of cooperative learning in fostering students' active participation and skill development. On the first day, trainees learn the fundamentals of cooperative learning and its essential elements to aid in effective lesson planning. The second day focuses on various cooperative learning strategies, their implementation, and the roles of both teachers and students. Participants will analyse educational scenarios, learn how to evaluate cooperative learning, and apply their new knowledge to design a comprehensive cooperative learning lesson. This workshop prepares educators to create engaging, skill-building learning environments.

This workshop equips educators to integrate global citizenship into teaching. Participants explore its relationship with national citizenship and how values such as intercultural understanding, social responsibility, respect for diversity, ethics, and sustainability can be fostered. The course introduces explicit and implicit approaches, including inquiry, case studies, and project-based learning. Teachers learn to design learning outcomes, assess values using rating tools, and create authentic learning linked to real contexts. The workshop also highlights the teacher’s role in modelling empathy and civic responsibility. By the end, participants will be able to help students contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.

Therefore, this workshop aims to introduce participants to the concept of learning through play and its importance in developing children's life skills, which contribute to their comprehensive growth.

This workshop emphasizes the significance of project-based learning (PBL) in connecting education with real-life applications amidst the rapid changes of the 21st century. It aims to raise participants' awareness of PBL's role in enhancing students' higher order thinking skills, enabling them to address real-world challenges within a knowledge. PBL fosters student engagement, interaction, and effective knowledge application. The workshop positions teachers as educational designers, equipping participants with tools and techniques to manage PBL and create environments that promote creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. It also underscores the importance of community involvement in enriching students' understanding of PBL and real-life problem-solving.

This workshop helps English language teachers improve students' public speaking skills by addressing linguistic (pronunciation, intonation) and non-linguistic subskills (confidence, body language, audience awareness). It integrates active listening to enhance responsiveness and fluency techniques for persuasive communication. Public speaking, a vital leadership skill, empowers students to inspire others.
