When carrying out construction work the main contractor or landowner is responsible for any water that is to be moved or discharged from site. This presentation introduces the importance of water management, the regulations in place and how we can achieve effective treatment minimising environmental impact. You will learn the hierarchy of control as well as the most common water pollutants from site run off and the effects that these have on the environment.
