A one-day scenario-based training course for organisations to introduce their staff to best practice when interviewing witnesses and suspects. Aimed at individuals who may be required to interview either witnesses or suspects to gather and prepare evidence as part of an investigation. The course includes an overview of relevant legislation and effective interview models, along with practical training on how to structure interviews. Additional areas covered include the principles of investigative interviewing. Thereby, raising awareness and introducing the different aspects of how to interview and how to secure best evidence.

A one-day scenario-based training course for organisations to introduce their staff to best practice regarding Major Incident Log keeping. Aimed at individuals, including commanders and log keepers who will be required to capture and record key information and decisions during an incident. The course includes an overview of relevant legislation, provides knowledge around the importance of the role of log keeping and demonstrates how to effectively maintain a log. Individuals will then practice the skills gained using scenario-based learning. Thereby, raising awareness and introducing the different aspects of how to keep comprehensive logs during a Major Incident response.

A one-day training course for organisations providing an overview of where media sits within the Command and Control of a Major Incident. The course includes an overview of the principles of communication in a crisis, development of media strategies and identifying key messages/narratives. Includes practical experience of a media interview. Aimed at individuals who may be required to prepare and communicate messages on behalf of their organisation during a Major Incident response. Thereby, raising awareness and introducing the different aspects of how to interact with external media organisations and partner agency communications teams during a Major Incident.

A one-day exercise for organisations to provide a refresher re the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP), Joint Decision Model (JDM) and International Ship and Port Security (ISPS). Followed by a multi-level paper feed exercise to simulate a complex Major Incident response followed by a comprehensive de-brief. Aimed at individuals who may be required to undertake a command role, at Strategic (Gold), Tactical (Silver) or Operational (Bronze) levels. Raising awareness re the different aspects of the command structure (including multi agency working) to seek learning around areas of improvement. Identifying key recommendations during the exercise and in a report provided afterwards.
