About the CPD Course

This trauma informed training focuses specifically on abuse disclosures and gaining confidence and skill in signposting survivors. Participants will be equipped with the practical tools and knowledge to navigate these areas safely, appropriately and with a response that encompasses an individual survivor’s needs. It empowers participants beyond the scope of a ‘general awareness’ training by encouraging self-reflection and critical thinking, as well as providing education that focuses on survivor experience, intersectionality and the impact of trauma.

Trauma Informed GBDV Training

This trauma informed training, part of our ‘Rise for Change’ training programme, focuses specifically on police services provision and provides the skills needed to respond safely to gender based domestic violence (GBDV). We empower attendees to support survivors from the moment of their disclosure of abuse, through to accessing specialist support. Culturally relevant content, practical tools and globally recognised best practice have all been included in the training, with special consideration of the existing demands on police officers and GBDV units.

Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention

This training equips HR teams, senior leaders and staff with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to, Understand and comply with the new preventative legal requirements under the Worker’s Protection Act, Effectively address instances of workplace sexual harassment, Confidently respond to disclosures of workplace sexual harassment or address situations where workplace sexual harassment is witnessed.
