Managing Stress in the Workplace
The Kaleidoscope Plus Group
This session will give people a self-management toolbox of skills to enable individuals to reduce their stress levels in the workplace and build resilience. The sessions include looking at what stress is and identifying your own triggers for stress. It also looks at the self-help people can do for themselves to reduce their stress levels, whilst building on their resilience. This includes practical examples of self-help such as relaxation and breathing techniques. Once participants have established self-help for stress, it would be then turned to how we can manage in the workplace. Delivered by a qualified trainer, interactive sessions and workbooks.

This course is aimed at people who have lived experience of ill health/used services and want to learn more about how to support others. It will give learners an insight into what a peer group is, why we have them, what to consider when running a peer group and how they can be an advantage to our communities. The purpose of the course is to encourage people to learn and develop their own skills to enable them to go out and support their communities by either volunteering or setting up their own support group.

This session will equip people to feel more confident around the topic of Suicide. We look at up to date statistics and the impact it has on peoples lives. We identify myths and facts around suicide with our aim being to reduce stigma. We recognise warning signs and key indicators if someone is considering suicide. We provide basic tools on how to hold a conversation around suicide, preferred language and how to signpost. If we all play a part, we can help to prevent many suicides. Delivered by a qualified trainer, interactive sessions and encouraged note taking.

Train the Trainer
The Kaleidoscope Plus Group
This session provides five half-days of face-to-face or virtual training with where a learner will begin to develop the skills of becoming a trainer, understanding the training process, practical skills, knowledge, and delivery techniques. Our delivery will be a mixture of blended learning and short assessments and each learner will also be required to undertake an observed micro-teach during the programme. Upon completing and passing this programme each learner will be able to train or teach people within their own subject area as well as be able to help develop their employees and volunteers.
