An introduction to neurodiversity and how to support a neuroinclusive workforce

An interactive workshop for all employees looking to understand more about neurodiversity. This covers, An introduction to neurodiversity and how to start creating and embedding a neuroinclusive workplace culture, How best to support individuals in your workplace who are neurodivergent or have neurodivergent traits, What we can do better to understand and meet the needs of your neurodivergent customers, clients, residents and wider community. Included are fun facts that dispel misconceptions, interactive activities, impactful videos and a feedback survey.

This covers, An introduction to Social Value and what we mean by ‘Social Value’, the difference between consultation and co-development, the benefits of ‘bringing the community with you’, understanding of Empowering Communities, sustainability, explore whether communities are ‘hard to reach’ or ‘hardly reached’. Included are fun facts that dispel misconceptions, interactive activities, impactful videos and a feedback survey.

Propel training (Education settings) has been developed to drive inclusion supporting young people (14-24) with learning disabilities into employment. With only 5.1% of people with a learning disability in employment Propel training aims to reverse this through the provision of a support programmewhich can be embedded into education. This training provides delegates (education staff) with the tools, skills and practical know how to embed the principles of Propel within their setting. They are supported to embed a programme of activity into their SEND offer to support young people with learning disabilities develop a meaningful vocational journey.

Propel training (Workplace) has been developed to drive inclusion supporting young people (14-24) with learning disabilities into employment. This training provides delegates (workplace mentors) with the tools, skills and practical know how to embed the principles of Propel within their work setting. They are equipped to become workplace mentors, handholding and nurturing new recruits with learning disabilities supporting them thrive in their new role through day-to-day support and guidance.

The Community Mile is an innovative programme delivered in partnership with grassroots organisations, to support vulnerable communities to deliver a starting point to physical activity for their community. This course will provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and empowerment to implement The Community Mile within their community. There are 6 training modules covering introduction to The Mason Foundation, delivering safe miles, sustainability, community engagement, social media and innovation and creativity. The training is followed up with bespoke support, to ensure the Champions have fully embedded The Mile and are empowered to help their community become healthier, happier, and more active.
