Cover Supervisor Development Training

The cover supervisor development training has been devised to support and develop the role of new and existing cover supervisors or HLTAs as they play an integral role in supporting the teaching and learning of all pupils across schools. The training allows participants a chance to develop necessary knowledge and skills to carry out their role in the classroom and with the teachers they support. With little training in this field, we visit key areas of teaching and learning, but also tackle common challenges faced, allowing participants to feel more confident and better equipped to carry out their role.
