This course intends to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of what ADHD is and what it presents as. It includes the different types of ADHD and describes ineffectiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness and discusses the causes. Legislation and interventions are included that can be followed in the workplace. Also included are ways to support a person with ADHD.

Learners will be supported to understand the legislation and guidance in respect to Diabetes and will give guidance on how to support someone in the management of their diabetes.  It also provides an insight into how Diabetes affects the daily living of people with the illness with a regard to providing adequate and successful care practically, financially and emotionally.
