About the CPD Course

In this module, you will learn what Tourette Syndrome is, co-occurring features and differences that accompany it, how it affects an individual and what can be done to help and understand. We will explore the diagnostic criteria and differential diagnosis of other tics and movements. Finally, we will highlight what support is available from Tourette’s Action. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the course.

Tourette Syndrome is an inherited, neurological condition, the key features of which are tics, involuntary and uncontrollable sounds and movements. TS is a complex condition and a large number of people with the condition will also experience co-occurring features and conditions. At Tourettes Action, we provide support and research for people with Tourettes syndrome.
