Food Safety Training (Level 2)

Online first aid for mental health introduces the concept that all mental health is on a continuum. Learners will understand the different types of mental ill health and how to self-manage their own mental health and well-being. The second part of the course explores the concept of helping an individual suffering with mental ill health. Anaphylaxis Awareness describes the condition, it’s causes and what symptoms to look out for. Then details the correct treatment protocol for the 3 most commonly used auto injector pens. Learners can expect by it’s conclusion to fully understand the condition of anaphylaxis and how best to treat it. Learners are then awarded a certificate, which is valid for three years and proves competence in the field of anaphylaxis awareness.

Basic Life Support training is designed to enable candidates to have hands-on practice in the core skills that can keep a casualty alive during an emergency. This includes how to check breathing, use of the recovery position, perform CPR, AED and treat a choking casualty. Candidates can expect to learn these skills, which are designed to fill in the time gap between a sudden illness / injury and the arrival of the emergency services.

Online Level 1 Fire Safety explores the role of the fire warden within the workplace. Focusing on the causes of workplace fires, their prevention and the action to be taken when discovering a fire. The course also looks at the different classifications of fire extinguishers and how they can be operated. Concluding with a 10 question multiple choice assessment.

Online Level 1 food safety explores the role of the food handling within the workplace. Focusing on safe food handling practices, good personal hygiene and the importance of keeping work areas clean. The course concludes with a 10 question multiple choice assessment.

Level 3 First Aid at Work (3 Day) is the highest workplace first aid course in the marketplace encompassing both emergency and non-emergency situations. Learners can expect to grasp a wide range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge which could make a real difference at the scene of an accident or sudden illness. The course is suitable for any high risk workplace e.g. construction. It is also suitable for those who look after large groups. Whereby one person should be trained in Level 3 First Aid at Work for every 100 people you are responsible for.

Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour) is the highest paediatric first aid qualification within the workplace. It encompasses both emergency and non-emergency situations. Preparing the first aider to deal with an accident or sudden illness to an infant or child. The format of the course is one classroom day of attendance (6 hours) with the remaining time (6 hours) being completed via an e-learning module. Successful completion of the course leads to a nationally recognised qualification, which is suitable for childminders, nursery school workers and after school clubs.

Online First Aid at work explores the practical skills that can be used to save an adult casualty in a real life emergency. This is achieved through video lectures, questions, puzzles and written text. The course is interactive and fast paced. Suitable for those new to the subject of first aid as well as refreshers. Candidates receive an electronic certificate which proves understanding in this field.

Online Safe Moving & handling outlines the potential risks and costs associated with poor lifting techniques within the workplace. It also explored the employer's responsibility to provide adequate equipment and an overall safe working environment. Candidates will learn the importance of risk assessments, control measures and correct lifting technique on tasks.

Safeguarding children training is designed for anyone who has the responsibility of looking after children as part of their job role. The online course encompasses how to deal with a disclosure from a child, how to respond, record, and then report your concerns. Finally, it looks at the best practices that any organisation should adopt and concludes with a 10-question multiple choice assessment.

Online Level 1 Health & Safety teaches candidates about the importance of good health and safety within all workplaces. This can be achieved through the use of risk assessments (where suitable). Alongside basic knowledge about the risk of fire and how to move objects safely around the workplace. The course concludes with a 10 questions multiple choice assessment.
