About the CPD Course

Paruresis (shy bladder syndrome) is an inability to urinate when we think other people may see or hear us. Living with this social anxiety disorder can be a stressful life-limiting burden. The associated shame and secrecy can lead to restricted life choices, social isolation, increased anxiety, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. Learn why it happens, how it affects people, and the best way to support sufferers to deal with, and recover from, this life-affecting anxiety disorder. This hour-long training is provided by video and reading, and can be undertaken by individuals at their convenience
