Crossing borders

Online Course

About the CPD Course

The course explores the role of borders in intercultural contact, considering them as both ways of separating people and of bringing them together. It contrasts national borders with less obvious, but no less significant, cultural borders occurring both between and within nation states. It also explores different types of border crossings, comparing, for example, the experiences of international students and migrant workers with those of refugees.
