Oxplore Teach Module, Supporting Successful Transition from Primary to Secondary School

Online Course

About the CPD Course

This Oxplore Teach module looks at the impact of transition from primary to secondary school on learners’ engagement with education, development of academic self-concept and emotional well-being. As research shows that young people from backgrounds of socio-economic disadvantage may be especially vulnerable to becoming disengaged from education at this time, this module suggests some tips and strategies that teachers and other educators could use to support these pupils.
