Enhanced Subbase Attenuation For Source Control Sustainable Drainage

An introduction to new products and technologies available to broaden the viability of source control sustainable drainage by enhancing the attenuation capabilities of granular subbase under both permeable & impermeable surfaces. This course details systems developed to mitigate the common design limitations of granular subbase attenuation systems. Attendees will be informed on how to increase the void ratio of granular subbase, improve the stability of open graded aggregate, reduce construction depths, reduce carbon footprint, maximise the attenuation volume of a subbase on a sloping gradient and integrate micro-catchment calculations within drainage design software.
