A short course which provides instruction on safe use of abrasive wheels. It covers the obvious dangers from wheel breakage or contact with a running wheel but also details the less obvious health risks, such as vibration, noise and dust. This course is ideally suited for any employees working with and changing abrasive wheels on equipment such as handheld grinders/disc cutters, Stihl saws, bench-mounted grinders and cut-off saws.

This includes, Taking accurate anthropometric measurements and recommending a suitable ergonomic chair for a DSE user, Making appropriate recommendations for DSE users with common musculoskeletal conditions or with a range of disabilities, Further considerations for homeworkers and mobile workers, When to seek further advice.
