The conference explores the latest guidance and insights from mental health and higher education experts. Allowing delegates to understand how other universities have developed a university-wide approach to mental health support; by effectively integrating academic departments and university wellbeing services; promoting holistic wellbeing support. The conference also looks at implementing successful crisis management strategies and adopting proactive responses to suicide prevention (with a focus on Universities UK’s guidance for Suicide-safer universities and sharing information with trusted contacts). Examples of best practice that have developed multi-agency partnerships between universities and NHS Trusts will then share their experience.
