About the event

This course will set out the structure of the UK Parliament: the House of Commons; the House of Lords; their committees; and the important role of parliamentary staff. It will also explain the impact of devolution and the relationship between the UK Parliament and the devolved legislatures. Our expert trainer will explain the process of making legislation in UK Parliament including the types of Bills and the different procedures for each to become law. Understand how policy is worked through into draft legislation and the key stages that take place both in Whitehall and Parliament.
