The Pain Lab (TPL) is a specialist psychological pain management service, which provides a neurobiological approach to the treatment of chronic pain. The service was founded with the intention of helping to bridge the gap between physical and psychological interventions for chronic pain. TPL provides the EMDR Pain Protocol (created by Dr Mark Grant), which is a specialised adaptation of the standard EMDR protocol designed specifically to address chronic pain. The EMDR Pain Protocol is tailored to target the physical and emotional components of chronic pain.
