Sandy Bear Children's Bereavement Charity

Sandy Bear provides bereavement support to children, young people and families across Wales who have, or are facing a bereavement. Using 1:1 and peer support groups we help create positive memories. Our work sees numerous positive outcomes for those we support. Our training gives you the tools to know how to support a young person who has, or is facing bereavement, tackles common fears about what to say or do, and gives learners confidence in knowing that saying something is better than saying nothing at all, and reinforcing our tagline 'Helping children and young people to smile through the tears’.
