Designing Parenting Programmes

Training Course

About the CPD Course

This free practical training is designed for people working in Early Childhood Development (ECD) who are responsible for the creation of sustainable and culturally relevant parenting programmes. The course explores how to design, plan, implement, and strengthen parenting programmes that support positive child development and family wellbeing. Participants will examine how to identify child development priorities, define desired changes, make implementation decisions, develop curriculum content, and monitor programme effectiveness. We recommend learners complete the short Working with Parents of Young Children training course, also available for free on The Learning Hub, before starting this course. This course was produced as part of the Aga Khan Foundation’s Early Childhood Development Programme.
