The course comprises of 2 study days which cover the theory regarding injection technique and immunisation and practice undertaking injections. Students are required to complete a MCQ that demonstrates that they have met the learning outcomes. The course adheres to the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Immunisation Training of Healthcare Support Workers (PHE 2015).

Introduction to cervical cytology
