We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by iGROW. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.
Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?
iGROW is a psychological consultancy that helps businesses create healthier and more engaged workplaces through Workplace Mental Well-being (WMW), leadership development, and behavioral change. Our goal is to equip leaders and employees with the mindset, skills, and behaviors they need to thrive in both their personal and professional lives. At the heart of our work is a simple yet powerful belief: people are innately good, are relational beings with limitless potential, and are capable of engaging in works of kindness. This belief drives us to develop solutions that empower individuals, families, organizations, and communities to live their best possible lives.
Why did you become a CPD provider?
We pursued CPD accreditation to ensure our training meets recognized professional development standards while staying relevant to the evolving needs of organizations. Hence, becoming a CPD-accredited provider helps us build credibility and assure accountability to our partners. By enhancing the credibility of our programs, we guarantee that our training is structured, evidence-based, and effective in developing workplace mental well-being.
Many organizations seek professional development programs that are industry-recognized, and CPD accreditation reassures our partners that they invest in valuable and impactful training. Furthermore, we wanted to ensure that participants receive credible recognition for their learning. Through CPD certification, professionals who complete our training receive official acknowledgment of their role in championing workplace mental well-being. This not only adds value to their professional growth but also helps organizations build a more resilient, supportive workforce.
How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?
Before accreditation, we were already delivering Workplace Mental Well-being (WMW) training designed to help employees and organizations create a culture of psychological safety. We saw the CPD accreditation as a natural step in strengthening the credibility and impact of our training programs. One key step in implementing CPD accreditation was introducing certified professional training to our partners. By structuring this as accredited professional development, we ensured that employees and leaders who complete the training gain recognition for their expertise in workplace mental well-being.
We also refined our learning objectives, assessment criteria, and delivery methods to match CPD’s standards while maintaining our practical and engaging approach. Overall, implementing the CPD accreditation in our training offering helped us enhance its structure and credibility.
How has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?
CPD accreditation has helped us maintain consistently high training standards and keep our programs relevant and impactful. It has encouraged us to be even more intentional about the structure and delivery of our training, ensuring that every session provides real, actionable value to participants.
Furthermore, being affiliated with a recognized accreditation body has made it easier for organizations to trust that our programs offer genuine professional development value. Many corporate clients prefer accredited training programs, and CPD recognition has opened doors to more partnerships.
Lastly, it has expanded the way we share knowledge. Through blog articles shared on the CPD website, we now engage a wider audience, serving as a new platform where we share the importance of workplace mental well-being beyond just our training sessions. This has helped position iGROW as a thought leader in workplace mental health that supports both individuals and businesses in their journey toward a more resilient, compassionate work culture.
