About the CPD Course

The aim of our Emergency Medication Module is to provide staff with sufficient knowledge to enable the safe & effective management of emergency medication. After completing the module staff will: Know about anaphylaxis & how to administer an EpiPen. Know about epilepsy & how to administer buccal midazolam. Know about asthma & how to administer salbutamol. Know about diabetes & treating hypos & hypers. The module is delivered by a pharmacist or pharmacy technician & is 4 hours in duration, a workbook is provided, & a certificate is issued upon successful completion of the multi choice assessment.
