Developing children's wellbeing through pogo riding as an alternative physical activity in schools

This course takes the activity of pogo stick riding and develops a mind-set for primary and secondary teachers to positively impact children's wellbeing through curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities. This is relevant for people responsible for, or interested in delivering physical education and physical activity in schools. Alongside techniques and practical aspects of pogo, participants will develop links between mental wellbeing, mindfulness and active engagement, thus promoting the recognition of alternative physical activity, which fosters positive communities.
